How VisualCron Works
Connect applications, define tasks and triggers, and seamlessly automate critical workflows using VisualCron’s developer-friendly interface powered by features such as:
- Jobs: a container for tasks where you can create triggers and define an order for tasks to run.
- Tasks: configurable items that perform the work within a job, tasks can fall in the category of an Execute Task, SQL Task, or FTP task. Each task produces a normal or error output, enabling notifications and allowing you to debug execution.
- Triggers: fundamental components of jobs that initiate the start, triggers are based on time or an event in the system, such as the creation of a new file.
- Connections: a central repository for connections through various protocols (including FTP, SQL, Cloud Services, and more). Leverage API functionality to create a connection once and reuse it across tasks, managing changes from one location.
